A couple of months ago we had people almost insulting Saudi Arabia for taking steps against the Danes for their "illegitimate" cartoons depicting their religious hero and Prophet...
Now we have people taking steps against a restaurant with Hitler's name... Why the double standard?

Breeding Terrorism...
There are probably thousands or more likely millions of innocent people out there who are suffering torture from other humans... Some in the name of religion, sect or just plain terrorism...
But why are these innocent people labeled as collateral damage?
Israel seems to not care if thousands of innocent people die because these Hezbollah fighters are among these innocents... Let's say that these fighters are among the innocents, what do we do to reduce casualty? Simply don't give them a reason to attack... Now while you are making a bold statement of destroying what Lebanon built over several centuries, you are breeding terrorism... You are making the terrorists stronger by giving them a reason to recruit innocent people and hand them a weapon to go after you...
Hezbollah doesn't care if innocent people do die... It gives them more of a reason to rebel... And if gives them more power... Because it was them who actually built all that stuff that Israel destroyed and they had gained respect of the local people which Israel has none of... Not before and definitely not now...
The same scene with America and Iraq... America and Afghanistan... America and Iran...
